A5 Spanish / Portuguese Book (Print & Digital)

The world’s leading US/UK university admissions support company

Crimson Education had achieved great things since its inception, but was ready to move to the next stage in terms of branding & marketing. I was briefed by the VP of PR & Marketing (global) to design a booklet that would outline to prospects the unique benefits Crimson Education could provide to students globally. The design was given a print-first approach, with special attention given to highlighting the incredible US & UK universities on offer, and what those colleges could offer to Asia-Pacific students.

I also used this opportunity to develop Crimson's branding elements beyond what it had developed at the Start-up stage. I leaned heavily on the brand colours, with smaller elements used sparingly. Hierarchy was typically given to Crimson's outstanding statistics which was supported by tutor and mentor profiles.

In addition, at the same time, other global offices were requesting similar smaller scale booklets, with a more even split in digital-vs-print split. I designed the booklet in an A5 format for our São Paulo office. In a detailed briefing session with the country manager, they indicated that the audiences in Brazil responded differently to marketing than Asia-Pacific, and so a different design approach was used. More text, more infographics, and localised information was required.

I acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, traditional custodians of the land upon which I live and work. I pay my respects to elders past, present, and emerging, and acknowledge that this land was stolen and never ceded. A portion of my profits go towards Aboriginal charities as a small part of reparations. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
